Hi, everyone! Greetings from Texas, where the temperatures are only getting hotter. According to the local weatherpeople, we still haven't hit triple-digits yet, but it's only a matter of time. Remind me again why we live in Texas in the summer?!
This week, I'm celebrating a few things. I got the cover for my November release, and I just love it! Let's take a look, shall we?

Hello, my pretty! |
This weekend also marks an experiment. Mister is going to take a night off on Saturday and go hang out with some friends. My Mom will come over, and we're going to rent some movies and hang out with Little Roo. Then on Sunday, it's my turn for some R&R. I'm debating on what I want to do. Spend the afternoon writing? Go see a movie? Dive into a book? So many choices, but let's be real--I will probably wind up sleeping :)
What are you up to this weekend?
If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop created by Vikki and now hosted by Lexa Cain, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do. I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?
Any time on a day off sleeping is time well wasted. Enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHmm, forget the "spent".
DeleteI'm in Florida this summer, so every day that my AC unit continues to work is a day that I celebrate.
ReplyDeleteLove the new cover.
And enjoy your day off!
I live in Sacramento, and we've already had triple digits, although the temperature has come down a little in the past couple of weeks. Your week-end experiment sounds fun. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove your new cover!!! Sounds like a nice relaxing weekend Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Texas too. Supposed to be 100 by tomorrow.

That is a nice cover!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I will be taking an exam and brushing up skills on Excel, oh and reading a few chapters for a writing buddy :)
Well, whatever you decide to do, enjoy your relaxation day! The hot humidity has caught us too, and I'm dreaming of moving to northern Minnesota. Hubs is convinced yet ;)
ReplyDeleteAw yay on the cover! And getting a little R&R. Hope yall had fun :)

Summer months are really stressful, especially in this day and age, where temperatures are constantly spiking. You'll really have to prepare yourself for stuff like that. Air conditioners are a basic way to do just that, but they are only a part of what you can do.
