Celebrate the Small Things - Pumpkin edition

***BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN TO ENTER IN MY OCTOBER GIVEAWAY!  I've got lots of FREE BOOKS up for grabs!***

Congrats on making it through another week!  I'm about halfway through the semester, and I must admit, it's starting to wear on me.  Fortunately, I have two days to rest up and work on finishing my book, which is due on Monday!  Eeek!

This week, I'm celebrating that I get to help my Mom on Saturday.  She's a member of a charity that paints pumpkins as a fall fundraiser.  I usually help them paint, but my schedule didn't allow for that this year.  I do get to help them during the sale, which is on Saturday.  They've done a great job (as always) and it will be fun to help them sell their creations.  The money goes to help pediatric cancer patients, so it's a win-win all around.  Take a look at some of their work:

Which one is your favorite?  What are you celebrating this week?

If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop hosted by VikLit, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do.  I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?

  10. Oh, I love those!! So beautiful! Maleficent is hands-down my favorite (I have a weakness for kick-ass lady villains), but the turkey is a close second. If I lived close by, I would definitely have come and bought one, and supported a great cause :)
