Celebrate the Small Things - Spring Has Sprung!
I think it's finally safe to say spring is here in North Texas! A few weeks ago, Mister and I had our side yard landscaped. It went from a sad looking patch of weeds to a beautiful garden, and the knock-out roses are going nuts! It's so fun to wake up and see new blooms every day. This weekend, we plan to work on the front yard, and to plant some additional flowers in our planters. Hopefully everything will look great when we're done!
Are the flowers blooming in your part of the world? I hope so!
If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop created by Vikki and now hosted by Lexa Cain, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do. I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of flowers! It's nice to know it is spring somewhere... but here in New England we still have a foot+ of snow on the ground! But I love it. It will make it that much more special when the snow melts and flowers emerge!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I'm so jealous-- look at those gorgeous blooms! The green tippy tops of my crocuses had just pushed through and are now covered with fresh snow... fingers crossed they hang in there for warmer weather! Come on spring!!
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers, such a beautiful colour. I didn't inherit my mother's green thumbs unfortunately, but I'm waiting for the trees around us to flourish and become green again. That will do nicely. :)

Oh my gosh. So jealous! We're getting teased with Spring here then...30 degrees. We're in the 40s right now after some 70 days which were lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty!
Lara, that is fabulous! That rose looks good enough to eat. I bet it had a delicate scent too. Happy Spring fellow Celebrate-tor.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with planting.
ReplyDeleteOoh! Look at the gorgeous roses! They are really the most beautiful and romantic flowers. Yay for Spring! :)
ReplyDeleteThose roses are soooo pretty. Our daffodils are just getting ready to bloom, here where I live. Have a great weekend. http://catherineensley.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, everyone! I hope the weather warms up soon for you Northerners! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - I used to live in North Texas (Denton) but somehow I think you may be further north than I was.
