Celebrate the Small Things - Reboot edition

Hello! I'm sorry I've been remiss in posting the last few Fridays--life's been busy.

This week, I'm trying to look at my stressors in a different light. I have some deadlines fast approaching, but I am blessed because deadlines mean I have a contract. We're moving soon, but we are fortunate to have a lovely home, and we never have to worry about Little Roo not having a safe place to sleep. Sometimes I slip up and revert back to being stressed, but I'll keep working on it!

Today, Mom and I are going to our local library to see Susan Wiggs and get books signed. Should be fun. The rest of the weekend is all business--packing and writing, yippee!

What are you up to this weekend?

If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop created by Vikki and now hosted by Lexa Cain, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do.  I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?

  1. I don't think you can ever stop stressing completely, especially with little kids. It's good to try and remember the bright side and to just adjust to what comes along, but don't get down on yourself for stressing. Sometimes it just happens.

  2. That's a great way to look at stressful situations. I wish I could do that more often. Good luck with your move and meeting your deadlines!

  3. I give you a lot of credit for signing contracts, writing to deadlines, and not being afraid to pack up and move to a new place. Those are all things I cannot and will not do. Yet, like you, I'm stressed (and just getting over a jaw infection from clenching my teeth). Good luck to you on writing and moving!
