Celebrate the Small Things - Pumpkin edition

***BE SURE TO SCROLL DOWN TO ENTER IN MY OCTOBER GIVEAWAY!  I've got lots of FREE BOOKS up for grabs!***

Congrats on making it through another week!  I'm about halfway through the semester, and I must admit, it's starting to wear on me.  Fortunately, I have two days to rest up and work on finishing my book, which is due on Monday!  Eeek!

This week, I'm celebrating that I get to help my Mom on Saturday.  She's a member of a charity that paints pumpkins as a fall fundraiser.  I usually help them paint, but my schedule didn't allow for that this year.  I do get to help them during the sale, which is on Saturday.  They've done a great job (as always) and it will be fun to help them sell their creations.  The money goes to help pediatric cancer patients, so it's a win-win all around.  Take a look at some of their work:

Which one is your favorite?  What are you celebrating this week?

Celebrate the Small Things - Books in the Basin edition!

We made it to Friday!  Let's celebrate!

Today, Mister and I are driving to Odessa, Texas. Why, you ask?  Two reasons: Mister's mother and grandmother live there, and I'm participating in the Books in the Basin festival this weekend!  I have a session at 9:30 am on Saturday, and I'm part of a romance panel discussion at 2 pm.  In between, I have some book signings.  If you find yourself in the Midland/Odessa area this weekend, please stop by and say hi!

What are you up to this weekend?  Something fun, I hope!
