Celebrate the Small Things - Staying warm edition

We finally have winter weather here in Texas!  My classes were canceled last night, and today--let's celebrate!  This hop is organized by VikLit--stop by her blog to sign up and join us!

This week, I'm celebrating the fact that I'm all snowed (well, iced) in. It's so nice to hunker down, eat soup, and hang out.  I'm also very grateful that we still have power. I know a lot of people in my area have lost power, but so far, we haven't <fingers crossed!>

What are you celebrating this week?

  2. Styx was supposed to begin his chemo today, but we rescheduled for Monday. Tracy is home. I am reading, meditating, and enjoying the snow. Being retired is wonderful. Please tell your mom I said hello,

  3. The storm is moving our way, I'm hoping it's not too bad, but it's been raining all day. A freeze would be disastrous, I'm keeping my fingers crossed too! Celebrating another great review for Memories - just the lift I needed today! Keep warm, it's a great time for a good read - or writing - either one works for me!

  4. We had tons of snow for Thanksgiving and it melted with an unusual warm pattern. Now we're back to cold, and I like to hunker down and hibernate for the winter. That's when I get my best writing accomplished.
