Lazy days of summer...

www.123rf.com
It's the middle of July, which means the summer is about halfway over. I've been spending my time writing and getting a bit of reading done--it's been wonderful.  To top it off, we've had some unseasonable rain the past few days, which has helped to cool things down a bit.  All in all, I can't complain.

What have you been up to this summer?  Any big vacation plans?

  2. No big vacation plans here. My only goal is to find a nice, cool, air-conditioned place to hang out until the humidity goes away.

But I love that pool picture. I wish I could jump right in.

    1. We've at least had rain, but like you, I'm ready for the heat to be gone.

  4. ...well, eventually I plan to read your novel (November, right?). And go to the lake in upstate New York in August, and walk fully clothed down the slope to the water and into the water until it's over my head, at which point I will swim back to shore, laughing, squelch my way out, go to the cottage and don a swimsuit and enjoy the breezes...
