Glutton for Punishment

Well, it's official.  I signed up for the April session of Camp NaNoWriMo.  I tried to resist (really, I did!), but they pulled me back in.  They told me I could set my own word count, which I love (it's 25,000, in case you're wondering...).

Am I crazy to be doing Camp NaNo at the same time I'm doing the A to Z challenge?  Maybe.  But I can't neglect my writing during the month of blogging madness, and I figured this would be a fun way to stay on top of things.  Plus, I'm hoping to use it as a push to finish book 2.

Anyone else want to join me?  C'mon in, the water's fine (and there's s'mores)!

  1. I'm considering it. Though I think I'm crazy for contemplating this. LOL.

  2. Ooo, I'm tempted. I need a push to keep writing, and most of my A-Z are already pre-scheduled. And it's not as if I'll end in a fiery death if 'stuff' happens and I don't finish, right? Plus s'mores.... But do I really need one more commitment?

    1. Join us, Spesh! You know you want to... You get to set your own word count--how great is that?!

  3. Yes!I will join you! Only I shall be entering all my paper edits instead of writing new words - though there will be new words if called for. The goal is to have a beta-ready draft by the end of the month!

  4. Yikes! I know my limits and NaNoWriMo anything is one of them. I'll play along on the outside and cheer you all along. How about that? ; )

  5. A glutton for punishment? You bet you are! Good luck with that. Keep us posted on what it is like. Maybe next year for me...this year is too full of gobbledy gook for me. :)

  6. Go for it! I'd join in but I've already got enough going on this month so I'll have to pass. This time.
