Celebrate the Small Things blog hop!

Celebrate the Small Things is a blog hop hosted by VikLit at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author.  The idea is to blog about the little events or goals you met during the week, and to take joy in those baby-step accomplishments.

This week, I'm celebrating the fact that I made it through the first week of the spring semester.  I'm particularly proud of the fact that I've kept up with my writing, and have written something every day, even if it was only a sentence or two.  Let's hope I can keep this up as the semester progresses!

What did you accomplish this week?

  3. Congrats for surviving the first week AND keeping up with your writing, too. It may be only a few sentences, but they really add up after a while! :-)

    1. It really does add up--I was pleasantly surprised when looking over my weekly tally last night. It's easy to dismiss the contribution of a few words, but repeat that over several days and you have a respectable chunk [g]

Hmm, I think the best thing that happened to me this week was getting better after being deathly ill!

  5. Writing every day is a feat in itself! I always THINK about writing but I only make it to the computer to sit down and do it a few times a week. Nice persistence!

Sometimes _thinking_ about writing is just as important as writing--got to get those plot twists figured out, after all!

  7. Writing and teaching! OH. MY. I couldn't do it, so, kudos to you, Lara!

I did write either blog or WIP everyday this week. Though, I'll admit that some days it was a bit skimpy. ; )
