Celebrate the Small Things - First day of Camp edition

Hello, everyone!  How was your week?  I'm still dealing with the effects of my cold, and I'm sorry to report that I managed to pass it on to Little Roo. It's the first time she's been sick, and frankly, I think the experience has been more traumatic for me than her.  Keep your fingers crossed she bounces back quickly!

Today, I'm celebrating the first day of Camp NaNoWriMo.  I love these camp sessions--I have a hard time writing 50K in a month during the official NaNoWriMo, but the camps let me set my own word count goal.  Makes me feel productive :)

Is anyone else doing Camp NaNo?  If so, I'd love to be in your cabin!  My user name is Lara Lacombe.

What's new in your world?

If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop created by Vikki and now hosted by Lexa Cain, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do.  I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?

  1. Sorry to hear you were sick, and now the little is. May she have a speedy recovery!

Best of luck with Camp NaNo. I'm sadly not participating this time around, but I love the flexibility it offers.

I really want to do any of the NaNo stuff, but I always find myself super busy when they roll around.

  5. So sorry you're sick. A kids sickness is always more traumatic for you. Hang in there.
