Celebrate the Small Things -- Thawing out edition

You really have to love Fridays--it's the last day of the traditional work week, and the weekend looms ahead, a stretch of time that is totally yours, burgeoning with possibility.  What better day to celebrate the little things that happened during the week?

Today, I'm celebrating a turn in the weather. While we haven't had the terrible winter weather of other, more northern, states, we have had our share of cold temperatures and gray days.  But that all changes this weekend!  The sun is supposed to come out, and our temps are supposed to rise into the 60's!  It will be a nice change from the past two weeks, when we didn't have any sun.

I'm also celebrating the fact that Mister and I are making progress on Baby Munchkin's nursery.  We have a long way to go yet, but we'll get there one step at a time!

What are you celebrating this week?

If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop created by Vikki and now hosted by Lexa Cain, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do.  I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?

  1. I always celebrate the sun. Enjoy working on the Munchkin's nursery.

  2. Setting up a nursery is the BEST!!!! Have Fun!!

  3. 'Bless-ed' sunshine - we finally have it here today - first time in a week. I so relate. New nursery digs? Lucky Munchkin! Have a lovely weekend... in all of that terrific weather.

  4. Thanks everyone! I hope you all have a nice weekend too! :)

  5. A weekend in the 60s?! I'm jealous! I hope you have a wonderful time and enjoy working on your new nursery!
