Celebrate the Small Things - Gardening edition

It's that time again!  Let's celebrate!

This week, I'm celebrating the mums that I bought and planted in my flower pots.  I planted dark burgundy mums for my front pots, and a friendly orange mum for my back pot.  I'm hoping they'll bloom soon so I can share pictures with you all!

I hope mine will look this good! :)
The weather has finally turned cooler here, and I'm hoping this marks a turn into fall.  I'm tired of sweating :)

What are you celebrating this week?

If you've been reading my blog, you know that Fridays are reserved for a post where I celebrate the little things that have happened during the week. This is a blog hop hosted by VikLit, and it's one of my favorite blogging things to do.  I encourage you to check out her blog and the full list of participants, because who doesn't love reading about good things?

  1. I love mums, but they never look good the second season. I guess I just don't prune in time or properly.

  2. I always kill my mums off. They're supposed to keep coming back but whenever I plant them they die. Love the fall color though.

  3. They'll look lovely! We're having an Indian summer in Scotland - been really warm this week. Not complaining though and the kids are having fun playing in the park in our street after school.

  4. I love fall when the mums are potted and the color lasts way past first frost here. Enjoy yours!

  6. I love mums. I like them all in their pretty colors. I envy the great weather you're having. Can't say the same for me but like I said in my blog post, there's always something good in everything.
